She marries her teacher, Michael. They go to work on a roadshow tour. Also: "Mama's Girl" with art by Marty Elkin - Carol feels suffocated by her widowed mother, who manages the personnel department of the store where they both work, and encourages Carol to date only men who have bright futures. And: "Meant for Marriage" with pencils by Herb Familton - Susan refuses to marry Ted before his overseas military deployment, fearing he'll be killed. They break up. Vivian, a lady on a nearby park bench, tells Susan the story of her long-ago romance with Jim. She wanted to wait to marry until Jim finished law school and became successful. A lifelong spinster now, Vivian urges Susan to marry Ted right away and the young couple is happily reunited. After they're gone, Vivian greets her long-time husband, Jim. She lied!
