The legendary lawmen of frontier Texas bring justice to the lawless West. Ranger Tom must escort Col. Carvel to a meeting with Chieftain Iron Shirt, but someone doesn't want the meeting to happen. When a sheriff arrests young Kip Steel for bullying and general nuisance, it forces a confrontation with his father, powerful rancher Hank Steel. A young Ranger goes through training; the Ranger in this story is actually named "Tex Avery," in a steal (intentional or otherwise) from the name of the famous animator working at the same time.
