His younger son fell in love with an enemy girl and, to defend her people, rode out against Taras Bulba. In battle the two faced each other, patriot father and traitor son. Illustrated cardboard sleeve, looks like a matchbook but originally contained four sticks of chewing gum. Big Chief Wahoo was created by Allen Saunders and Elmer Woggon (Katy Keene creator Bill Woggon's older brother), and appeared in newspaper funnies from 1936 to 1947. The back of the sleeve features some cool premium gifts for the kiddies: A Chief Wahoo War Bonnet, magnetic fighting soldiers, and an adjustable compass ring. #2 of 9 in a series.
