In an issue-length story with art by 1970s Batman artist Jim Aparo, an Egyptian usurper claims that he is the true Phantom, not the purple-suited Ghost Who Walks. To add injury to insult, the Pharaoh Phantom marks the Phantom with his own version of the Skull Ring. A backup story features art by future Marvel legend Don Perlin.
