One of the strips in the comic is Charles Schulz's Peanuts, featuring rare stories not written or drawn by Schulz, but by fellow artist Jim Sasseville. Charlie Brown tries to figure out why Lucy's plants aren't growing. Lucy gets nail-trimmers and decides to give everyone on the block a manicure, even Snoopy. Nancy agrees to a "home color-TV demonstration," a sign of the era.
