Scrooge purchases a rare element at auction, but to safely store it, he must travel to the South Pole, so he takes Donald and his nephews along. Huey, Dewey and Louie compete with Donald during Halloween trick or treating. This story was based on the classic 1952 Disney cartoon "Trick or Treat." In a reprint of Don Rosa's first story for Walt Disney's Comics and Stories, Huey, Dewey and Louie go seeking forest animals to earn Junior Woodchucks badges. But Donald tries to trick them by disguising normal animals as strange, unheard-of creatures.
