Wally Wood, George Evans, Jack Davis, and John Severin reprints from Two-Fisted Tales #34. This reprint is in color and otherwise looks very much like the original printing (although there are some obvious differences). However, the give-away that it is not the original is the fact that it has a cover price of $1 or more and has a 1970's rather than a 1950's copyright. Cover price $1.00.

1st Printing. Written by Hugo Pratt. Art and Cover by Milo Manara. The two greatest Italian artists in comics today once again join forces for a compelling beautifully illustrated novel centered on the New World. Like their previous collaboration, INDIAN SUMMER, greed, power and hypocrisy fuel a story this time involving the early awakenings of independence in Argentina where Indians and Blacks seek alliance with the English or French whose motivations are hardly humanitarian. Caught within this destructive maelstrom are Tom the English drummer boy, the beautiful lass of Ireland Molly Malone, Matthew the hunchback and the Argentinian girl Aureliana who, together, try to keep a certain semblance of right and wrong. Hardcover, 8 1/2-in. x 11 1/2-in., full color, 144 pages. Mature Readers Cover price $28.95.

1st printing. Story and art by Olivier Kugler. From the front lines of the Syrian refugee crisis. While on assignment between 2013 and 2017, often for Doctors Without Borders, Olivier Kugler interviewed and photographed Syrian refugees and their caregivers in camps, on the road, and in provisional housing in Iraqi Kurdistan, Greece, France, Switzerland, and England. Escaping Wars and Waves is the astonishing result of that record keeping-a graphic novel that brings to life the improvised living conditions of the refugees, along with the stories of how they survived. Kugler captures the chaotic energy of the camps through movement-filled drawings that depict figures, locations, and seemingly random details that take on their own resonance. He gives precedence to the voices of the refugees by incorporating excerpts from his many interviews and portraits sketched from thousands of reference photos. What emerges is a complicated and intense narrative of loss, sadness, fear, and hope and an indelible impression of the refugees as individual humans with their own stories, rather than a faceless mass. Escaping Wars and Waves is an unnervingly close and poignant look at the lives of those affected by the Syrian war and the volunteers who tend to them. Softcover, 9-in. x 12-in., 80 pages, full color. Cover price $18.95.

1st Edition - 1st printing.
Story and art by Joe Kubert.
In 1945, we told the world, "Never again."
In 1992, we forgot our promise.
That was the year the war broke out in Sarajevo, Bosnia, the year that genocide revisited the planet. That was the year that Ervin Rustemagic and his family found themselves trapped in a city under siege. Ervin is an international businessman, an art agent whose clients include comics veteran Joe Kubert.
Ervin had grown up in Sarajevo and had run his business from the city for more than a decade. When the shells and gunfire tore the city asunder, Ervin's only efficient means of communication to the outside world was via his fax machine, through which he could send extended messages very quickly, messages which could be re-faxed to his many clients and friends. As Joe began to receive these messages, he saw a story unfolding, one of horror and outrage and inhumanity, and of hope. And Joe did what he had done for years -- what he had become famous for doing -- he put the story to paper. The result is one of the greatest achievements of one of comics' greatest living masters, a story of hope and promise against the worst kind of odds. It's the story of war, a very real war, told from the point of view of the innocent victims; it's the story of survival.
This full-color, softcover graphic novel is the kind of project the comics industry has been asking for -- it's a comics story that anyone can read, that everyone should read. It's a comics story that will attract the attention of the world outside the comics store.
What Maus is to World War II, Fax from Sarajevo will be to the Bosnian War.

Volume 2 - 1st printing. Written by Ian Edington. Art by Tiernen Trevallion. Cover by DaNi. In 1970, Lieutenant Tim Wilson is haunted by the memories of war - not just the bloodshed of the battlefield, but the horrors witnessed at the hand of Captain Constanta, who rescued him after a gruesome encounter with the King-Bats of Maximilian Von Klorr - the Black Max himself! Years later, Lt. Wilson sets out on a journey to hunt down Constanta in his native Romania, and uncovers his origins among beasts and creatures of magic.
