Volume 1 - 1st printing. Story and art by Harold Sakuishi. Forteen-year-old Yukio Tanaka is one heck of a boring guy. He has no hobbies, a weak taste in music, and only a small vestige of a personality. His shy and somewhat neurotic personality makes him his own worst enemy. Little does he know that his life will be forever changed when he meets Ryusuke Minami, a wild and unpredictable 16-year-old fresh from America. Ryusuke happens to be in a band named after his Frankenstein-like patched dog, Beck, and his rock 'n' roll dreams are about to take off! Softcover, 5-in. x 7-in., 192 pages, B&W. NOTE: These are Japanese manga-style GNs and are meant to be read right-to-left. Cover price $9.99.

Volume 2 - 1st printing. Story and art by Harold Sakuishi. After seeing Izumi fawn over Ryusuke's extended blues session, Koyuki is determined to practice like a madman on the dusty old acoustic guitar Ryusuke gives him. Later at a bar, Ryusuke suggests a tryout for a position in his new band between Koyuki and potential singer Chiba, a fiery hot-head. When Koyuki begins learning and practicing for this duel, he winds up joining a Beatles cover band that is partaking in a Battle of the Bands festival. Koyuki nervously joins, as the loser will be forced to strip naked! When Maho tags along for the festival, will the night end in steamy skinny-dipping action between Maho and Koyuki? Hyodo plots to humiliate Koyuki at school one more time. And, will Koyuki ever be good enough to make the band? Softcover, 5-in. x 7-in., 192 pages, B&W. 1st printing. Story and art by Akvile Magicduste. Translated by Erika Lastovskyte. In 1965, inspired by The Beatles, Lithuanian musician Jurate Dineikaite founded a rock band called The Bees. This spirited ensemble of six women toured throughout the Soviet Union during the 60s and 70s — turning heads with their blue jeans, mop-tops, and modern rock sound. For these women, taking the stage was at once an electrifying expression of their artistry and an audacious political act.Based on interviews with Jurate herself, this graphic novel vividly captures episodes of the groups lived experiences — from thrilling performances to chilling encounters with the KGB. An authentic portrayal of a fascinating true history little known outside of Lithuania, The Bees is adapted with vibrant colors and a charmingly handcrafted style by cartoonist Akvile Magicdusté. This edition also features a photo gallery with period snapshots of the band in action, plus a playlist of their original songs! Softcover, 7 1/2-in. x 9-in., 168 pages, full color. Belzebubs HC (2019 IDW) #1-1STTags: Art BookPublished Mar 2019 by IDW Publishing.$9.49
$7.10
1st printing.
Story and art by JP Ahonen.
Belzebubs is a "trve kvlt mockumentary" focusing on the everyday challenges of family life: raising kids, running a small business, and making time for worship. Except the kids are named Lilith and Leviathan, the business is a black-metal band, and the worship... isn't exactly aimed upstairs.
In a few short years, what started out as improvised social-media doodles has now become a wildly successful webcomic with hundreds of thousands of fans. The irresistible cartooning of JP Ahonen (Sing No Evil) combines relatable slice-of-life humor with over-the-top occult antics and references from metal music to Lovecraftian horror, making Belzebubs a devil of a good time. Calvin & Hobbes meets Call of Cthulhu as the sensationally popular heavy metal webcomic Belzebubs comes to print in a grim, goofy, and gorgeous hardcover.
Over 250,000 rabid Facebook fans! Official soundtrack on Century Media Records, the world's biggest heavy metal label! Visit belzebubs.com for strips, music video, and much more!
Hardcover, 6in. x 6-in., 120 pages, full color.

Written by Carlos Sampayo. Art and cover by Jose Munoz.
Born in Baltimore in 1915, and dead too early in New York in 1959, Billie Holiday became a legendary jazz singer, even mythical. With her voice even now managing to touch so many people, we follow a reporter on the trail of the artist on behalf of a New York daily. Beyond the public scandals that marred the life of the star (alcohol, drugs, violence...), he seeks to restore the truth, revisiting the memory of Billie.
Through this investigation, Muñoz and Sampayo trace, through the undertones of racism, and in the wake of the blues, the slow drift of a singer who expressed the deepest emotions in jazz, creating not just a biography but a spell-binding art book tribute.

Written by Ebony Gilbert and David Calcano. Art by Lindsay Lee, Juan Riera, Ittai Manero, and Jorge Mansilla.
Dive into the celebrated life of "Lady Day" with this fully-illustrated graphic novel that tells the story of Billie Holiday's rapid-and, at times, grueling-rise to become one of the best musicians who ever lived. From her days as a young entertainer performing for small jazz clubs in Harlem, to headlining sold-out shows at Carnegie Hall, every trouble and triumph of Billie Holiday's bold, influential career is featured in this graphic novel from Fantoons.
Readers will revisit Billie's peak years as she helped lead the transition from the Harlem Renaissance to the iconic Swing Era alongside some of the top names in jazz-including Artie Shaw, Lester Young, and Count Basie.

Story and art by Scott Chantler.
Told in stunning illustrations, Bix is a near-wordless graphic biography highlighting the career of Leon "Bix" Beiderbecke, one of the most innovative jazz soloists of the 1920s next to the legendary Louis Armstrong. Composing and recording some of the landmark music in the early history of genre, Bix struggled with personal demons, facing the disapproval of his conservative parents and an increasing dependence on alcohol.
Told mostly in silent panels to reflect his outsider quality and inability to communicate in anything other than musical terms, Bix tells the story of the rapid rise and tragic fall of a musical legend-a metaphor for the glories and risks inherent in the creative life.

1st printing. Written by Christopher Painter. Art and cover by Bob Quinn. The story of three punk rock witches, Alice, Hazel, and Maggie, who cast spells with their songs to battle corporate demon jerks, defeat rival witch bands, save the world, and get to the next gig. Black Cat Social Club have been at this "band thing" for quite a while, with limited success. (Bummer.) Despite their kick-ass punk rock skills (and a little songcasting magic), these witchy women have been struggling to reach their big break. Discouraged, bassist Hazel sells her soul to a demon for more magical power, prompting singer/lead guitarist Alice to step in and assume the debt herself! Plus side, the band is killing it at their shows now. Downside? They may literally be killing the entire world by fueling these corporate demons' evil plans, which for sure involve brimstone, monsters... you know, the works! Can the band stop the apocalypse? Is drummer Maggie's songwriting, uh, "technique" the key? Will the demon Stan ever shut up?! If you've ever wished Josie and the Pussycats had more demons, or Buffy was fronting a three-piece rock band, you've found your next favorite book in BLACK CAT SOCIAL CLUB! Softcover, 128 pages, full color. Cover price $19.99.
