Plot continues from Daredevil (1st series) 283. Since the events of the Inhumans (1988) Graphic Novel, Medusa has been at odds with the Inhumans' Genetics Council regarding her son Ahura. And through a strange set of circumstances, Ahura (aka Pope) has escaped from the council's custody and wound up on Earth. So the Genetics Council sends a group of Inhumans to New York to capture the young boy! But these special emissaries run into the Fantastic Four first! Once the FF learns that the council is not planning to return Ahura to his mother (Medusa) or his father (Black Bolt), the battle begins! And eventually, it leads all the way to the blue area of the moon! Strangely enough, the Fantastic Four are fighting harder to reunite Medusa with her son than the Inhumans are. What kind of politics are at work on Attilan? And who is really in charge of the Genetics Council? Right on cue the two heavy-hitters confront the fabulous foursome as they approach the anomaly! However surprisingly, Annihilus and Blastaar share the same concern about the Annihilation Area. After a truce is agreed upon, the six travelers move together toward the area's strange vortex, and they discover the ancient race knows as the Tyannans! And then they meet the leader of the Tyannans: Reed Richards from Counter-Earth (aka the Brute)! Wow, what a shock! No one has seen him in years since the climatic ending to Fantastic Four (1st series) 183. But he's here now! And the Brute wants to conquer the negative universe and the positive one! And she apparently went missing in the desert! So Ben, Sue, Johnny, and the Green Goliath start searching in the arid wilderness outside the city. And they find her! Then they uncover her captor: the Mole Man! What is he doing in the Silver State? The Mole Man wants the Hulk and the idol of millions to fight again! This time to the death -- double or nothing!
