An unhinged circus clown, spurned by a woman after making a declaration of love (in full clown regalia), then murders her (still in full clown regalia). The infamous Burke and Hare get jobs providing corpses to early medical schools, but when they run out of bodies, they start making fresh ones. Drunken med-school reject "Doc" Moran becomes the underworld's favorite physician. Also featuring a vintage PSA about recognizing honorably discharged veterans. Mr. E gets involved when a couple schemes to kill a returning veteran for the insurance money, but he turns up alive the next day. A gangland murder seems to be a case of mistaken identity, but Dynamic Man tracks the killers to a long-lost treasure ship at the bottom of the bay. Winnie and Will have trouble paying the bills. Winnie goes into the dressmaking business, but Will objects to his wife having a job. Winnie baby-sits a little girl who Will can't stand. Bitsy goes to visit her grandmother. Will continues to win at the races, but can't tell Winnie about his winnings since she disapproves of gambling. Will manages to up his race winnings to $1,200. Will keeps betting on the horses, but starts losing money. Will loses all of $1,200 he won by betting on horse races. After leaving Will because of his gambling, Winnie goes to her parents' house; She returns to the apartment, only to be accused of being a burglar and is taken to the police station.
