On Inauguration Day, newly elected President Stephen Blades hoped to tackle the most critical issues facing the nation: war, the economy, and a failing health care system. But in a letter penned by the outgoing President, Blades learns the truth that redefines "critical": seven years ago, NASA discovered alien presence in the asteroid belt, and kept it a secret from the world.
A stealth mission crewed by nine astronauts was sent to make contact, and they're getting close-assuming they survive the long journey to reach their destination.
Today, President-elect Blades has become the most powerful man on the planet. This planet.

Volume 7, 1st Printing - All 14 stories collected for the first time with an introduction by Joseph V. Procopio plus, a Career-spanning bonus gallery. Ray Willner was a casualty of the culture wars. With a comics career dating to 1939, Willner produced impressive work for publishers small and large throughout the 1940s. By 1949 he landed one of the only steady gigs in his career for an unusual publisher: The Brown Shoe Company. It was there that Willner found a simpatico spirit in fellow artist Reed Crandall. Although their collaboration on the Brown Shoe Co. series The Adventures of Robin Hood lasted less than a year — cancelled in the wake of the scaremongering backlash against comics in the 1950s — the seven issues produced by Willner with Crandall represent a seldom seen high-water mark in comics art. They were the last comics Willner would ever draw. The Lost Art of Ray Willner collects these comics for the first time since their original publication in 1956 and includes an introductory essay on Willners life and career. Hardcover, 8.5" x 11", 212 pages, full color. Cover price $32.95.

2nd and later printings. Story and art by Bryan Lee O'Malley. Raleigh doesn't have a soul. A cat stole it - at least that's what she tells people - at least that's what she would tell people if she told people anything. But that would mean talking to people, and the mere thought of social interaction is terrifying. How did such a shy teenage girl end up in a car with three of her hooligan classmates on a cross-country road trip? Being forced to interact with kids her own age is a new and alarming proposition for Raleigh, but maybe it's just what she needs - or maybe it can help her find what she needs - or maybe it can help her to realize that what she needs has been with her all along. This special hardcover edition of Bryan Lee O'Malley's classic coming-of-age graphic novel includes previously uncollected shorts and extra bonus material. Hardcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 176 pages, full color. Cover price $24.99.

Written by George R. R. Martin and Raya Golden. Art and Cover by Raya Golden. Based on the Hugo Award-nominated short story by George R.R. Martin, best-selling author of A Game of Thrones, Meathouse Man is a darkly poignant tale set on a collection of planets called corpse worlds. On these planets, corpse handlers transmit their wills to an army of brainless bodies - once living people now rendered expendable. Perversion abounds as these corpses are exposed to appalling conditions at the whim of their handlers. The grim story follows one such handler - a man who remains nameless - through his teenage years and into adulthood, across corpse brothels, monotonous jobs, heartbreak, and betrayals. His increased detachment from reality becomes a spiraling descent into rejection and desensitization to the horrors around him. Set among towering buildings, giant rolling planetary processing units, and vast forest terrains on several different worlds, this journey serves as a modern fable of warning and a fascinating exploration of an alternate world perhaps not so different from our own.
