Former flapper Blondie tries to adjust to a settled suburban existence with her new husband, Dagwood Bumstead. Each one-page strip has a title added for this edition. Dagwood's method for smoothing his hair back doesn't win Blondie's approval; Blondie experiences empty-nest syndrome when "Baby Dumpling" grows up into schoolboy Alexander; Blondie gets jealous when Dagwood rescues a lady swimmer. Also featuring an introduction by J.V. Connolly, president of King Features Syndicate. Hardcover (with Dust Jacket), 6-in. x 7 1/2-in., 124 pages, B&W. Cover price $1.00.

Stories and art by Bob Kanigher and Louis Ferstadt (both credited as Lew Howe), Ted Small, and Pat Regan (probably house pseudonyms). Cover by E. C. Stoner. One of the stranger superheroes, Greek deity Antaeus - who can bounce whenever hurled to the ground - appears when summoned by his modern-day descendant, a neurotic artist. The Bouncer has the distinction of being the first character created by comics legend Robert Kanigher - as well as appearing in both Scott Shaw!'s Oddball Comics and The League of Regrettable Superheroes. Numbering on the series apparently continues from Green Mask Vol. 1 (1940) #9, although this is murky because there was also a Green Mask Vol. 1 (1940) #10, and this issue of Bouncer was not numbered. The Bouncer protects a graveyard from gangsters; Air ace Rocket Kelly battles mad scientist Dr. Malik over the atom world of Selura; The Bouncer faces a foe almost as odd as he is, the absurd Gold Bug. Also featuring an ad for US war bonds. Adventure of the Uneasy Graveyard; One Round Hogan; The Joy Family; Rocket Kelly: It Happened to Me; Rocket Kelly: Atom World of Selura; Loop O'Day: The Fainting Star; A New Kind of Adversary!; Here 'N There; Minit Mystery. 48 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.

Cover by George Tuska. Stories and art by Bill Madden, Joe Beck, Charles Sultan and George Tuska. Numbering continues from another Chesler book, but just which one is a matter of some debate. Reprints of superhero and adventure comics from earlier Chesler / Dynamic books. Heroic witch Mother Hubbard uses her magic when enemy agents target the inventors of a "flame gun." Wealthy athlete Denis Knight becomes the hero Green Knight when the city is menaced by a vampire. Lady Satan and Mother Hubbard were listed in Jon Morris's 2015 book The League of Regrettable Superheroes. Yankee Doodle Jones; Lady Satan; King Kole; A Soldier Must Obey; Johnny Rebel; Mother Hubbard; K-9; Ticking Treasure; Green Knight. 48 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
