Stories and art by Edward Kean and others. An icon of 1950s Americana, Howdy Doody was a star of early television, and a mischievous Tom Sawyer-type adventurer in this comic. Phineas T. Bluster hires Howdy and Dilly to ride Teena the elephant through town to promote the circus, but they forget Teena's command word. The Inspector's Whodunit Machine is supposed to be able to find anyone or anything. Howdy and Dilly go to the beach.
