Meanwhile, Richie Regent calls the Nightstalkers for help with his sister Sam, who has a letter from the dwarf that can wipe magic from the earth (see Darkhold #8); Blade gets the message and takes the tape recording message so that he can handle it by himself, however, the message is backed up automatically; Stonecold and Slaughter run into each other and decide to team up to get Morbius (Slaughter for revenge and Stonecold to try to use him to power his "perpetual motion wheel"); When Morbius attacks someone (without drinking from him) he is attacked by the Nightstalkers; When "Linda" fails to cure him he goes crazy and attempts to drain Hannibal King, who in turn tries to drain Morbius. She then tells him that Maxxy has it. Hannibal, Frank and John Blaze know what Blade is trying to do and attempt to stop him; They reach him and "Linda" destroys the letter but not before Blade has read the page; He accepts the Other's offer of the opportunity to revenge himself against everything unnatural; He is then turned into Switchblade, a being capable of absorbing the magical abilities of everyone that he destroys. Part 2: Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, script by Steven Grant, pencils by Kirk Van Wormer, inks by Bill Anderson; Hannibal King and Blade are sent into the future by Short Circuit; In this future Manhattan is ruled by Hannibal King and vampires seem to control everything. Blade, who was killed by Hannibal in this future, kills Hannibal this time. Frank shoots "Linda" inside Short Circuit's energy field, which disrupts Short Circuit and opens a portal allowing Hannibal and Blade to come back to their time period; Frank figures out that Short Circuit is staying in the prison because he needs the power from their transformers so he turns them off, forcing Short Circuit to burn himself up without the extra electricity to keep himself powered up. 36 pgs. $1.75.
