Written by Mac Raboy and Don Moore. Art by Mac Raboy.
Dark Horse is proud to present this collection of Mac Raboy's run on Flash Gordon. Continuing Dark Horse Comics' tradition of fine reprint books, this tome is the first ever collection of Flash Gordon work by Raboy. Beginning his comics career in 1940, after taking government-funded drawing classes, Emanuel `Mac' Raboy drew comics for the Harry "A" Chesler Studio and for Fawcett Publications. He's perhaps best known for his work on Captain Marvel, Jr. and the Green Lama in the 1940s. In the Spring of 1948 he signed on with King Features to illustrate the 'Flash Gordon' Sunday page, following in the footsteps of his idol, Alex Raymond, and drawing the strip until his death in December of 1967.

So when he winds up in our era, he sees the world as one big video game—and hes got a lot to learn. Luckily, Bart has a mentor named Max Mercury, and if anyones up to the task, its the zen master of the Speed Force. In this collection, Bart adjusts to life in the 20th century, keeping the town of Manchester, Alabama, safe from threats like White Lightning and Gridlock.

Krazy Little Comics (1967 Topps): The Flush is one of sixteen parody mini-comics originally produced as test market items in 1967, by the Topps Chewing Gum Company. They did not see full national distribution. All were written by Roy Thomas and feature Wally Wood cover and interior art. These minis spoof not only Marvel and DC super-heroes, but other comic characters as well, like the Phantom, Prince Valiant, and Tarzan. These possibly predate, or are at least contemporaneous with, Not Brand Ecch! #1 (08/1967), and are among the rarest of the Merry Marvel Marching Society era items. Full color, 2.5-in. x 3.5-in., no cover price.

Volume 1- 1st printing. Story by Keiichi Hikami and Art by Shin Yamamoto. It is an age when monsters rule the world, soaring through the sky, treading the earth and filling the seas. Humanity survives on the fringes, relying on a special kind of hero to defend the people from danger—the Monster Hunters! Hunting giant man-eating beasts is no job for the weak-hearted, but along with courage, it takes skill and experience to be a good Hunter. It also takes good teamwork. Raiga and his comrades are experts now, but when they started down the path of the Monster Hunter, they lacked these qualities. When they head off to confront the dragon-like Queropeco, they quickly learn that this flaw could cost them dearly… Softcover, 5-in. x 7 1/2-in., 224 pages, B&W. Cover price $10.99.
