Spenser, Sheriff Jesse Stone, and detective Sunny Randall came together; Lara Croft, the Tomb Raider, clashed with the Deep Ones; Ash Williams crossed swords with Dracula and Dr. Herbert West; and a modern-day Van Helsing went up against the current incarnation of the Black Coats… …To the far-flung future, when Spock claimed Holmes as an ancestor and Ishmael flew with the wind whales… Win Scott Eckert is the editor of and a contributor to Myths for the Modern Age: Philip Jose Farmer's Wold Newton Universe, a 2007 Locus Awards finalist.
