The answer will startle and amaze you, not to mention pose a danger that will place Blackhawk smack dab in the crossfire in Part 1 of "All in Color for a Crime." And, if that weren't enough for a first issue, you'll also learn the secret of the real Lady Blackhawk. Written by Martin Pasko, with art by Rick Burchett. Cover by Burchett. New Format. Book One: Blood and Iron. Howard Chaykin revives the World War II fighter pilot and his team in a series that was fairly cutting-edge for its time, with plenty of graphic violence, sex and language, when such things were still rare in mainstream comics. Blackhawk wakes from an alcoholic blackout to find himself mixed up with gangsters, Nazi spies, a corrupt U.S. senator and a plot to steal the atomic bomb. For some reason, this miniseries was never collected into a single volume. Story and art by Chaykin. Mature readers. Squarebound. Prestige Format. 52 pages. Cover price $2.95. Cover price $2.95.
