Written by Tom Taylor, Greg Rucka, Mariko Tamaki and Dan Watters Art by Mikel Janin, Alvaro Martinex Bueno, Amancay Nahuelpan and Bill Sienkiewicz In March 1937, a comic book was published that changed the world as we know it. Now, 1,099 issues later, some of comics' top talents have gathered to celebrate the comic that birthed a legend! Tom Taylor and Mikel Janin join forces once again to tell a heartfelt and action-packed story of Batman rescuing a young boy's best friend. Greg Rucka and Alvaro Martinez Bueno team up for a tale that asks the question: was Gotham better off before Batman? Mariko Tamaki reunites with Detective Comics collaborator Amancay Nahuelpan for a yarn that explores Bruce Wayne's world outside of the cowl and how his double life as Batman intersects with his alter ego's actions. Dan Watters and legendary artist Bill Sienkiewicz bring us a story that illustrates just how similar Batman's motivations are to the criminals he has sworn to fight and how he fights against his own darkness. 56 pages, full color. Donald Duck's Atom Bomb Mini Comic (1947) 1 CGC 9.4

    Rarest Cheerios Premium.
    Disney banned book from reprint

    Paper: Off white

    Label #0780785012

    Starts Jan 3

Donald Duck's Atom Bomb (#Y1 1947) is the rarest of the Cheerios Premiums. Features Carl Barks art. Due to the atomic bomb theme, Disney will never reprint the Atom Bomb story as presented here in the original, non-censored version. Donald had "got a way picked out to make money - and lots of it!" by selling an "atomic hair-grower" at $1.00 per bottle. A cash register and money in a customer's hand is depicted. In the censored version, Donald has "more than money in mind" and gives away free samples of a normal hair-grower. The word "atomic" is removed from the board, but most noticeable are the cash register being replaced for a pyramid of bottles and the people in the queue having combs in their hands instead of dollar bills. Appearances by: Donald Duck, Huey Dewey and Louie, Professor Mollicule, and Professor Sleezy. Cheerios 1947, 32-page, full color, newsprint promotional comic, 6-7/8 x 3-1/8, Issue #Y1. 32 pages.

Stories and art by Dick Ayers, Fred Ottenheimer, and Rocco "Rocke" Mastroserio. Eh! was Charlton's attempt at a one-word-title humor and satire comic, inspired by the success of EC's Mad. A boxing manager needing a new fighter looks for the toughest guy he can find, but they all have some hidden weakness. Hoiman the cab driver faces the strange and dangerous challenges of picking up a day's fares in the city. Eh! does a version of Longfellow's "Paul Revere's Ride," just as Mad did a year later. Spoofs of 1950s advertising, including cigarettes, deodorant ("He smells like a gymnasium!"), and "Cellophane Diapers" - as Alfred E. Neuman would say, "Yecch!" The cover features an unprintable visual pun. Be Hacky - Go Nutz; A Million Dollar Gate!; Taxi, Lady?; Eh-!?!; Herman's Hazard; The Ride of Paul Revere!; Histerical News!; Don't Be Aloof...; Clearview Cellophane Diapers. 32 pages, Full Color.
