Oni Press Edition - 1st printing. Collects Clerks: The Comic Book (1998), Clerks Holiday Special (1998), and Clerks: The Lost Scene (1999).
Written by Kevin Smith. Art by Jim Mahfood, Phil Hester, and Ande Parks.
First it was a hit movie. Now it's a much-demanded trade paperback.
Get the whole Clerks story in this essential new edition of laughs and profane liberties. Writer/Director Kevin Smith (Chasing Amy, Dogma, Green Arrow, Daredevil) stuns us with three all-new adventures of Dante, Randal, Jay & Silent Bob, and the Quick Stop Mini Mart customers who first appeared in Clerks, his surprise critical and commercial debut film.
These tales follow the exploits of America's favorite slacker icons as they seek out the rarest of Star Wars toys, become employees of Kris Kringle, and get the scare of their lives in a crucial, much-talked-about, lost sequence that did not make the original film's final cut.
Softcover, 96 pages, B&W. Mature Readers

Hold on tight as historian Christopher Irving explores the origins of the first on-screen superheroes and the comic creators and film-makers who brought them to life. CLIFFHANGER! touches on the early days of the film serial, to its explosion as a juvenile medium of the 1930s and '40s. Beck, Frank Frazetta, Will Eisner), and actors (Buster Crabbe, George Reeves, Lorna Gray, Kane Richmond, Kirk Alyn, Dave O'Brien) who brought them to the silver screen. This is a Columbia Pictures preview annual for 1934-35 of the films that the studio planned to release in the coming year. Not available to the public, it was produced in limited quantity (likely no more than 500 copies) and given to studio executives, directors, producers, major stars and the owners of theater chains as a tool for influencing their booking decisions in the months to come. Featured within the book are publicity stills of screen legends such as Frank Capra, Myrna Loy, Dorothy Howell, Herbert Fields, Bradley King and Boris Karloff. Also featured are double page spreads of upcoming Columbia pictures productions, some of which were never produced, or were released under a different title such as "The Black Room Mystery" which was released in 1935 under the title "The Black Room," starring Boris Karloff in a dual role as twin brothers! Hardcover, 11-in. x 14-in., 92 pages, full color (with B&W Photos)

In the world of comics, Joss Whedon created his own dystopian heroine, Fray, assembled the goofy fannish heroes of Sugarshock, and wrote arcs for Marvel's Astonishing X-Men and Runaways. Today, Whedon continues the Buffy and Firefly stories with innovative comics that shatter the rules of storytelling and force his characters to grow through life-altering conflicts.
This collection of essays focuses on Whedon's comics work and its tie-ins with his film and television productions, emphasizing his auteurism in crossing over from panel to screen to panel.

1st printing. Edited and Introduction by David Bushman and Ken Deep. Essays by Shaun Lyon, Joseph Dougherty, Mackenzie, Amanda-Rae Prescott. Scott Ryan, David Bushman, Gina R. Rosich, PhD, MSW, Joshua Lou Friedman, Yee Jee Tso, Paul J. Salamoff, Charlie Williams, Lucy Chase Williams, Amy Krell, Edwin Thrower, Ken Deep, Barnaby Edwards, and Ken Deep. Cover by Blair D. Shedd. "Don't be alone, Doctor," Amy Pond tells the eleventh Doctor in "The Angels Take Manhattan," and of course the irony is that in one sense the Doctor is always alone-a Gallifreyan whose regenerative powers mean he will outlast nearly everyone near and dear to him-while at the same time he is rarely without one or more trusted companion by his side. This is a book about those companions, those fortunate few who accompany him on his journeys through space and time on, to quote the ninth Doctor-"the trip of a lifetime." The editors of The Villains of Doctor Who return with a new anthology of essays to Donna Noble, Sarah Jane Smith, Rose Tyler, Wilfred Mott, Chang Lee, Clara Oswald, and more. Softcover, 6-in. x 9-in., 212 pages, Text. Cover price $19.99.
