A story from the Book of Mark is retold wherein a child is found to be deaf, but Jesus heals the child and his hearing is restored. Then follows a modern day story of Nancy, a baby girl that becomes deaf after an explosion. The doctors can do nothing. Nancy longs to hear what the other children can hear. Her parents see Oral Roberts on TV and take their daughter to a nearby TV taping. On the show Nancy is healed and can hear for the first time. Yet another miracle based on the healing touch of Oral Roberts using the power of faith in Jesus Christ. The comic is narrated by Oal Roberts and he appears regularly throughout the modern portion of the story. At the end of each story there is a page of Oral preaching the power of faith in Jesus.

This issue tells the story of Dusty Boyd, a TV show cowboy who finished his hitch in the army with a bad back. He prays to Jesus after seeing the story of David and Goliath on TV while watching an Oral Roberts TV program. Dusty realizes that prayer can sometimes overcome an affliction, and in Dusty's case it does. The comic is narrated by Oal Roberts. At the end of each story there is a page of Oral preaching the power of faith in Jesus.

Produced by Reed & Associates, this punch-out cardboard clock features various Fawcett characters (including Capt. Marvel, Capt. Marvel Jr., Mary Marvel, Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, and others). The dials "really turn" and "show the time," as the cover says, but it's a little misleading, as it's not a working clock, of course, being all cardboard. It is, however, a very interesting item! Despite Wellington's success against Marmont's army at Salamanca in July, the year of 1812 ended in bitter disappointment for the British. However, a year later Wellington's series of brilliant manoeuvres threw the French onto the defensive on all fronts, culminating in the final victory at Vittoria: 90,000 men and 90 guns attacking in four mutually supporting columns. The French centre gave way and both flanks were turned, their army finally breaking in flight towards Pamplona. Any French hopes of maintaining their position in the Peninsular were crushed forever. By the second half of the 14th century, the once mighty Byzantine Empire had been reduced to little more than the city of Constantinople. In 1391, the Ottoman ruler Sultan Bayazid I 'The Lightning' besieged the city. Pope Boniface IX preached a crusade and a French-led army of 10,000 marched east. At Nicopolis they met the Ottoman army in battle. Ignoring the advice of their Hungarian and Transylvanian allies, the Crusaders charged the Turks and were in turn smashed by the Ottoman heavy cavalry. On 2 August 1808 a British army of 14,000 men began landing north of Lisbon under the command of Sir Arthur Wellesley, the future Duke of Wellington. They were coming to assist the Portuguese, Britain's oldest ally, to liberate their country from its French occupiers. Within a month Wellesley was to win two victories over the French at the battles of Roliça and Vimeiro. General Andoche Junot, the French commander, was forced to surrender and evacuate Portugal.
