Tremor returns to murder two of Twists men before visiting him personally. During their encounter Twist tells Tremor that his brother, David, is still alive. In the alleys of New York, Spawn protects those essential to his existence, the worms, as he rebuilds his power. Spawn learns from Cogliostro that the angels are made of plasma similar to his own, and that Tiffany still lives, as the only way to vanquish an angel is by absorbing her light. Cogliostro reminds Spawn to fight for what is right by opening his mind and learning. Tremor seeks out Spawn for help.     "Twisted!" Written by Todd McFarlane. Art and cover by Greg Capullo and Todd McFarlane. At Spawns request, Tremor drags Scambino, one of Twists thugs, to the alley for interrogation. Meanwhile, Clown lets Wynn know of Spawns return, and should be attacked now in his weakened state. Realizing that he must use his brains to impress Malebolgia, Clown enlists Wynn to bring down Spawn. At the same time, deep within Rat City, Cog finds a barricade built by Spawn, and wonder if Spawns costume has overpowered its master. Later that evening, Tremor visits Twist as he is still haunted by the news that his brother, David, could be alive. There he discovers first hand that David works for Twist. Just as Tremor finds himself cornered, Spawn arrives and warns Twist, once again, to stay away from Wanda. While Burke is proudly showing Twitch the stylish new digs for their soon-to-be agency, and ominous envelope arrives under the door. Inside, are photos of men previously linked to Chief Banks, and a request for a meeting. We later learn that Wynn and Clown are behind the deadly set-up. Spawn and Cog have an altercation in Rat City. Enraged, Spawn warns Cog to tell all that he knows, or stay away forever. Terry's suspicions about Wynn's illegal activities are finally confirmed, but as he happily tells Julia that hes found what he was looking for, Wynn enters the room saying that he is anxious to read the results. As Terry laments over the possible danger this poses to his life, he has a brief blackout. Although it is now apparent that something is seriously wrong, he doesn't tell Wanda for fear of upsetting her. Meanwhile, the bums begin to question Al's loyalty and friendship. Al confides in Granny Blake his fears for her safety if he continues to visit her but, his concern is met with a gentle sermon. When Cogliostro breaks into Spawns personal asylum, he discovers that the costume is beginning to possess him. Cogliostro, showing no fear, is swallowed and vomited by the cape. Able to free Al from the evil capes grip, Cog admonishes him to harness its power. Finally, Al humbly asks cog for help. Terry visits the doctor who orders routine tests. Preoccupied with his pending test results and the reconstruction of Wynn's murder conspiracy against him, Terry blacks out on the drive home, becomes involved in a serious accident and ends up in the hospital. Cy-Gor lurks in New York City concrete jungle looking for Simmons. On edge since the mysterious file was slipped under their door and feeling the financial pressure of starting their new business, Twitch pulls his gun when the car blows a rod.
