Vol. 3, #9 - July, 1954. Science Fantasy, which later became Impulse and then SF Impulse, was a UK published science-fiction and fantasy digest that began production in the Summer of 1950 and was distributed by Nova Publications as a companion to Nova's New Worlds. When Nova went out of business in early 1964, The title was changed to Impulse in early 1966, to little avail, and then changed once more to SF Impulse for the last few issues. Science Fantasy ceased publication the following year, after the printer went bankrupt. Cover by Gerard Quinn, stories by H.J. Murdoch, Brian W. Aldiss, A. Bertram Chandler, E.C. Tubb, W.P. The Stolen Horse; a stranger appears at the cabin of Hank Clawson to swap his horse; he takes out a moosehide purse with gold to pay, but Hank recognizes it as his partner's, and draws his gun.
