Killer Wilbur Stiles is undone by his well-known addiction to watching college basketball. Cover and first page feature a photo endorsement from police Captain Felix Lynch, approving of "this magazine as a good reading for red-blooded American youngsters." In Peaceful Corners, Lash tracks Red Frisby and his cattle-rustling outlaw gang. Lash has to keep Bill Lamont Jr. alive until he turns 21 and inherits his father's ranch, but ranch foreman Sledge has other ideas, in a story with nice art by an unknown artist. These stories are so early, Lash doesn't even have his trademark black getup yet. Plus "Comix Cards" (like the later Marvel Value Stamps) featuring Lash Larue. Chief Gray Matter; The Range Riders of Destruction!; Wagonwheels Will Never Get Over It; The Fatal Roundups; Loco Lew; Kidder Kidd; Big Bow and Little Arrow: The Big Snooze; The Planned Accidents! 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
