Star-Studded Comics 7 - July 1965 Format: Photo offset printing Wrap-around binding with staples in center. Original price was 50 cents Color cover by Howard Keltner features large picture of Dr. Weird and smaller shots of the Defender, the Fog, the Human Cat, and Powerman. First issue with color back cover features full page picture of the Defender versus Crystal Stone. "Let's Talk It Over!" column notes that it has been two years since the Texas Trio had their first meeting and decided to publish a comic book. Also states that the circulation of this issue was 1,000 copies and has letters from Jerry Phillips, Roger Elwood, Dave Bibby, Russ Manning, and Roy Thomas. Issue also has ads for other fan published magazines.
