"Double Richie": While out camping, Mr. Rich drinks from a Fountain of Youth and reverts to child-size; He attends board meetings in his present state, and his execs mistake him for Richie. "The Blackbeard Caper"; Rich employee Mr. Index invents a time machine; His Nixon-like assistant talks Richie and the Indexes into traveling back to Blackbeard the Pirate's time for a short trial run. "A Taste of Money"; Richie returns and needs to pay a $10 million ransom for Timmy Index and his father, held by Blackbeard. "Blackbeard's Bash"; Richie accidentally brings the real Blackbeard to modern times; Blackbeard helps him pursue the real kidnappers in exchange for reward money. "Dot Puzzle Solver"; After doing a dot-shaped puzzle, Dot searches the neighborhood for broken items that she can reassemble, but she always ends up turning them into dot shapes. Stan's Weekly Express (or WE, for short) was a weekly adzine published from 1969 to 1973 by Stanley Blair of Houston, Texas. It was a direct forerunner of the Comics Buyer's Guide. Blair founded the WSA (short for Stan's Weekly Express Seal of Approval) to serve as a guard against mail fraud for the blossoming comic fandom industry. (Thanks to http://www.comicbookfanthropology.com and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comics_Buyer's_Guide for the above information!) This double-issue features cover art by Russell Myers.
