He is saved by Dusk and Dawn and a deep bond forms between them as Tom gains an understanding not only of the forest, but of shared values and a greater global mission.

The great Alberto Breccia, in collaboration with the Argentine writer Hector German Oesterheld (The Eternaut,) present Mort Cinder, a horror story with political overtones that follows the wanderings through time of a man who rises from the grave each time he is killed, bearing witness to the darkest sides of humanity. Written by Hector German Oesterheld. Art and cover by Alberto Breccia.
This serial follows the wanderings through time, space, and the darkest corners of humanity-from ancient Greece to the mid-20th century-of a man who rises from the grave each time he is killed.
Alberto Breccia is recognized as one of the greatest international cartoonists in the history of comics and Mort Cinder is considered one of his finest achievements. Created in collaboration with the Argentine writer Héctor Germán Oesterheld, best known in the U.S. for his politically incendiary sci-fi masterpiece, the Eisner Award-winning The Eternaut, Mort Cinder is a horror story with political overtones.
This episodic serial, written and drawn between 1962-1964, is drawn by Breccia in moody chiaroscuro. The artist's rubbery, expressionistic faces capture every glint in the eyes of the grave robbers, sailors, and slaves that populate these stories; while the slash of stripes of prisoners' uniforms, the trapeziums of Babylon, and more create distinct and evocative milieus.

1st printing. Written by Brian Walker. Art and cover by Mort Walker. Old cartoonists never die. They just erase away… This was one of Mort Walkers favorite sayings, and until his final days, he lived by his motto, engaging millions of readers through his beloved comics. Walker had the longest tenure of any cartoonist on his original creation in the history of comics. He produced Beetle Bailey for 67 years, 3 months and 12 days – that's 24,576 strips. He penciled his last week of daily strips on December 16, 2017. Mort Walker's Beetle Bailey: 75 Years of Smiles is a coffee table retrospective commemorating Mort Walkers long and dedicated commitment to cartooning, spotlighting the anniversary of his most popular and beloved creation. In addition to the 75 Sunday pages reproduced from color syndicate proofs, 135 daily and Sunday strips scanned from original artwork, and close to 200 additional images, this beautifully designed volume, impeccably researched and written by his son Brian, also includes rare photographs, historic debut character appearances, syndicate promotional materials, posters, merchandise, personal drawings and memorabilia from the family archives, as well as biographical sketches and anecdotes. Dubbed The Dean of American Cartooning, Walker was one of the most prolific cartoonists in the comics business, with the creation of nine different syndicated strips during his lifetime, including Beetle Bailey, one of the most widely syndicated strips in the world. Beetle Bailey remains a popular feature in newspapers today and is currently produced by his sons Greg, Brian and Neal. Hardcover, 12-in. x 9-in., 276 pages, PC/PB&W. Cover price $65.00.
