1st printing. Story and art by Jason. The cartoonist known as Jason returns with a collection of three short graphic stories, connected by an absurdist thread, showcasing his idiosyncratic cultural obsessions, clear line style, and deadpan humor. The title story, Death in Trieste, sets the scene in 1920s Berlin, a bustling cultural hotspot in the shadow of the coming Nazism. Here, a host of unlikely characters — time-travelling David Bowie, Rasputin, Nosferatu, Marlene Dietrich, and more — are all connected by a group of Dadaists who perform the art of rationality through madness. In The Magritte Affair, a wisecracking pair of detectives must crack a case involving art forgeries, masked men, and mysterious disappearances — all linked to the surrealist world of the famous Belgian painter. Finally, in Sweet Dreams, Jason reimagines the New Wave artists of the 1980s as X-Men-esque superheroes. While this supergroup easily dispatches such supernatural threats as living mummies, animated suits of armor, and rampaging golems, they soon face their biggest challenge yet, as a giant meteorite hurtles toward the Earth. Hardcover, 7-in.x 9 1/2-in., 176 pages, full color. Mature Readers Cover price $24.99.

1st printing. Written by Justin Heggs. Art and cover by Cam Hayden. Once the snarling frontman of thrash metal legends Puke Hammer, Curtis Paul is now more dad than demon, trading mosh pits for parent-teacher meetings. But when a chance to reunite the band arises, Curtis finds himself torn between diapers and distortion pedals, family dinners and filthy riffs. Told with sharp humor and raw heart, Death Metal Duck is a time-hopping, 70-page graphic novel that dives deep into the chaos of parenthood, the passion of playing music, and the messiness of second chances. Featuring real music by a local Alberta band reimagined as Puke Hammers discography, this book is a raucous, reverent ode to creativity, comics, and the enduring power of loud guitars. For fans of slice-of-life stories with a metal edge—this ones for you. Hardcover, 80 pages, full color. Cover price $19.99.

1st printing. Collects Destroyer Duck (1982-1984) #1-5. Written by Steve Gerber. Art and Cover by Jack Kirby. Foreword by John Morrow. Introduction by Mark Evanier. Afterword by Buzz Dixon. In the 1980s, writer Steve Gerber was embroiled in a lawsuit against Marvel Comics over ownership of his creation Howard The Duck. To raise funds for legal fees, Gerber asked Jack Kirby to contribute to a benefit comic titled DESTROYER DUCK. Without hesitation, Kirby, in his own dispute with Marvel at the time, donated his services for the first issue, and the duo took aim at their former employer in an outrageous five-issue run. With biting satire and guns blazing, Duke "Destroyer" Duck battled the thinly veiled Godcorp (whose infamous credo was "Grab it all! Own it all! Drain it all!"), its evil leader Ned Packer and the (literally) spineless Booster Cogburn, Medea (a parody of Daredevil's Elektra), and more! Now, all five Gerber/Kirby issues are collected. relettered and reproduced from Jack's unbridled, uninked pencil art! Also included are select examples of Alfredo Alcala's unique inking style over Kirby on the original issues, Gerber's script pages, an historical Introduction by Mark Evanier, and an Afterword by Buzz Dixon. Hardcover, 8-in. x 11-in., 128 pages, B&W. Cover price $31.95.
