The Strange follows an unnamed, undocumented immigrant who tries to forge a new life in a Western country where he doesn't speak the language. Jérôme Ruillier's story is deftly told through myriad viewpoints, as each narrator recounts a situation in which they crossed paths with the newly-arrived foreigner. Told with beautiful simplicity, The Strange shows one person's struggle to adapt while dealing with the often brutal and unforgiving attitudes of the employers, neighbors, and strangers who populate this new land.

Story and art by Nathan Pyle.
In bright pinks, blues, greens, and purples, the inhabitants of Strange Planet are at once charming, strange, and recognizable. The game is human behaviors labeled in plain language and acted out by adorable aliens; on Strange Planet, we are invited to take a step back and celebrate our own previously unexamined practices of surprise parties, visits from the tooth fairy, and cleaning before having company. The labeling of common occurrences like sunburn as "Star Damage" and sweet dreams as "Imagine Pleasant Nonsense" has struck an immediate chord, with thousands of posts and tweets using these phrases in instant recognition.

Discover the backstory of the new Stranger Things fan favorite character, Robin, played by Maya Hawke! It's the beginning of sophomore year, and Robin's Odd Squad friends have decided: this time, they're going to fit in. They couple up, they won't stop talking about college and their future careers, and they're obsessed with trying to act "normal." Robin knows that game well--she's been pretending for years, hoping nobody would notice the sarcastic polyglot French horn player with a bad perm in the back of the room. But there's one aspect of her identity that she knows for sure doesn't fit in with her carefully controlled image--something she's only just now realizing: Robin likes girls. How exactly is she supposed to be her true self in teeny-tiny Hawkins, Indiana? Published Apr 2011 by Sorcery 101.$2.50
1st printing. By Kel Mcdonald. This book contains two self-contained graphic novels set in the universe of Sorcery 101, both originally published as a webcomic. "Strange Someone" is about a young writer discovering that Jeff, the nurse she met while writing a medical romance book, not only has some odd peculiar quirks, but also seems to harbour a bigger secret. This part had a difficult history on the web as it lost the first two illustrators during its original publication. The print version has been completely remade in the style of the third and last artist - which, unfortunately for me, is the style I like less, as I find it unnecessarily goofy and cartoony. "As We Were" is a slice of life of Lope and Suzanne, the first a magical creature disguised as a human, the second a human woman in search of vengeance after her family was killed by the vampire Seth. The story follows the duo as they try to hunt Seth down, leading them eventually to Lope's homeland, and focuses on Suzanne's moral dilemma that her hunt for Seth is slowly eroding everything else in her life. You have unlimited funds, a jet-set lifestyle, and extraordinary abilities. So what happens when you develop a sneaking suspicion you're working for the bad guys?
Meet Eve Stranger, amnesiac for hire. Eve wakes up in a hotel room without knowing who she is or how she got there. Beside her is a teddy bear, a credit card, a briefcase of cash, a used syringe, and a letter in her own handwriting that explains her next mission.
She's living week by week, undertaking different, seemingly impossible tasks on behalf of a mystery benefactor. Her bloodstream is flooded with nanobombs, and the contents of the syringe deactivates them for one week and also wipes her memory. Because every Friday morning she wakes up with a clean slate and a new job, from black ops action/adventure hero to personal shopper, scuba treasure hunter to space station saboteur.
