A heist graphic novel where supervillains get together and pull the biggest job of their careers, in a country miles away from all the superheroes. Think Oceans Eleven with masks. Why do supervillains always pull jobs in the cities with all the superheroes? The last place you'd want to rob a bank is Metropolis or Gotham, because you're only going to get caught and tossed in prison. But Europe doesn't have any superheroes at all, and if you're an American supervillain looking to make a few bucks there's worse places than Spain to hang out for a few weeks and get a suntan while you pull a legendary job against one of the greatest criminal minds of all time, who's retired to the Costa Del Sol and has his loot stored away in a secret location. Supercrooks tells the story of Johnny Bolt and the team he's put together to pull the ultimate heist and make them all richer than their wildest dreams. Hardcover, 9-in. x 12-in., 136 pages, full color. Mature Readers Cover price $49.99.

Shhhh...there's no super-heroics allowed in the library! All Raven wanted was a little peace and quiet, and the local library seemed like the perfect place to find that. And it could only happen at the library! When the teens get scattered into the library books, first they have to figure out what happened, then they have to find each other, then they have to find the real Jump City. 1st printing. Collects Batman #426-429 and 440-442 and New Teen Titans (1984-1996 2nd Series) #60-61.

Written by Jim Starlin, George Perez, and Marv Wolfman. Art by Jim Aparo, Tom Grummett, Mike DeCarlo, Bob McLeod, and George Perez. Cover by Jim Aparo.

The Batman classic of the 1980s is collected in a hardcover featuring stories previously released seperately as BATMAN: A DEATH IN THE FAMILY and BATMAN: A LONELY PLACE OF DYING for the first time in one place! Including BATMAN #426-429 and 440-442 and THE NEW TITANS #60-61!

Readers were invited to vote on the outcome of this story - and they decided that Jason Todd should die! In this tragic tale, Jason lived up to his hot-headed reputation, ignoring his mentor's warnings when he attempts to take on The Joker by himself and paying the ultimate price. Driven by anger, with Superman by his side, Batman seeks his vengeance as he looks to end The Joker's threat forever. A DEATH IN THE FAMILY. In his ultimate showdown with the Boy Wonder, the Joker teams up with the most unlikely of allies -- Batman's readers! The year was 1988 -- the 50th anniversary of the Dark Knight Detective -- and his fans had been given an unprecedented opportunity to decide the outcome of one of his most pivotal stories. The choice? Whether to keep the status quo of Batman and Robin, the Dynamic Duo, or return Batman to what he once was -- a brooding, one-man war on crime. A vote was held, the results were honored, and history was made -- following his most devastating defeat, Robin was killed and Batman was once again Gotham's lone protector. But what would the ramifications of this tragedy be? Would Batman become a more focused champion of justice, or would he degenerate into a reckless vigilante, unable to recover from such a loss? These questions would be answered in the 5-part follow-up story A LONELY PLACE OF DYING, along with the biggest question of all: Does Batman need a Robin?

This volume of DC COMICS CLASSICS LIBRARY collects both of these iconic tales, as well as anecdotes by writer Marv Wolfman.

The first issue of this showcase series from future children's publisher Harvey has a place in comics history. It reprints the comic strip Rex Morgan, MD, by Marvin Bradley and Frank Edgington, featuring a standard anti-drug storyline. But the lurid pre-Code cover blurb and art attracted the attention of anti-comics crusader Dr. Frederic Wertham, who mentioned it in the text of his anti-comics classic Seduction of the Innocent (p. 27). The Comics Code, of course, was soon to follow. Rex Morgan, MD: Teen-Age Dope Slaves; Meet the Creators of Rex Morgan, M.D. 36 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
